Creepy Pencil Case

Here’s a pencil case I saw at the mall. It’s disturbing on a couple of levels.

This bear is clearly a sex predator.

What the hell is wrong with this rabbit? And “Watch your step going home”? Is that advice or a threat?

And I thought the Snuggle fabric softener bear was creepy. This one looks like his evil cousin.

I will! In fact, most of the entries for the next couple-few months will probably be of this sort, as they’re pretty easy to do, and I don’t have any Tonoharu “news” to ram down people’s throats right now.

Ah, Japan. Do you even have to try? Or is it just a question of stepping out your door and… bam! There’s something comically inappropriate, right there in front of your face! Everything I hear about the place would seen to indicate it’s the latter.

Japan definitely has no shortage of weirdness; I usually don’t have to look TOO hard to find things like this.

But at the same time, it’s not the Bizarro World that some people imagine it to be. I must have looked at hundreds of things at the mall that day, and this pencil case was the only one weird enough for me to bother to get out the camera. (Well, I guess there was ONE other thing, but you’ll have to wait until next Friday for that.)
