Hey
Just want to say one thing
YOU ARE AN AWESOME WRITER
I have read plenty of books in my currently short life but none (save Mushashis: book of five rings) have ever come close not only in style, competence, finesse, and overall quality of true life possibilities to your Tonoharu.
Truly Mr. Martinson, you are a genius sculptore of the true human condition in the face of alienation as you have. I seriously cant wait until Part Next comes out.

Lars, just finished reading Tonoharu -- amazing, wonderful, superb (see thesaurus for more such words). Don't know if you remember me -- I used to do the Japanese lessons at ALT meetings and was an ALT at Itoshima HS from 2003 to 2006. I picked up the book and started to flip through it, thinking, "man, this is all so familiar". Really good work, Lars -- looking forward to Part Deux when it rolls out (nice blog too by the way!)

You know you've done good when people Google you after reading your work.

I'm telling everyone I know about Part One. "I read this graphic novel a few days ago, and it's haunting me still..." Then I go on to recite particular lines that struck a chord. TV watching and sleeping? I love it when fictional characters articulate what we're all too ashamed to admit.

Oh, and I have the biggest crush on Daniel.
