I just first came across your site today as I make my first forays into learning about brushstrokes, calligraphic vs modulated line, etc, in ink painting, and I must say it&#039;s all very interesting and exciting stuff. I love the fact that as an American cartoonist, you went and studied Japanese calligraphy. That really adds something to your cartoons, I am sure. And your calligraphy itself, in any case, is beautiful.

As soon as this veritable mountain of term papers is out of the way, I am eager to find time to sit down and read through your older posts about calligraphy. Looking forward to your future posts, as well.
